Lenses for iPhone, what do you think? Are there any lenses that are worth the trouble to use?

I've had good experience with the Olloclip type of lenses. Solid accessory and not much bulk with the New Iphone6 version. A bit pricy at $70

What lense(s) do you like and did it do what you expected? Seeing examples of images while shopping for some and I was not impresses. Maybe I'm expecting to much.

I have a set that I ordered on Amazon. I will try to find some sample images and post them. They're real fun to play around with.

I'd like to see your sample images for sure - did you buy the VicTsing or PhotoJoJo ones by any chance?

I've had the olloclip for my Iphone5 and used it during our Vegas/LA vacation in October.

if you're a mobile phone shooter exclusively then IMO it's a nice addition.
I didn't use the 2 macro lens much but the wide-angle and fish-eye were great

this was shot with the fisheye lens

the wide-angle IIRC gives you a 21-24mm equivalent focal length

alas, I gave mine to my sister, the only cons I had with these accessories is that you can easily lose them, also the fact that I have to remove my camera case to use them is kind of annoying.

The only cell phone lens that is really worth buying is the fisheye. Only spend $10.00 on it, because no matter what you buy, it kills the image quality.

But, the fisheye is cool to have. That's why I recommend it. I don't recommend the macro or any of the other cell phone lenses that are out there. If you're coming from an SLR, then you're never going to use them because it turns the cell phone image quality into being in the year 2006 again.

I love my macro lens that I have. My wife bought me some inexpensive ones that comes with a telephoto, a fisheye, wide angle and macro.

I have the olloclip too, fun accessory but not essential. Two downsides to it: I have to take the phone out of it's case to use the lens, and even worse, I have to have the lens with me, LOL. it's usually in my camera bag and if I have that with me, I might as well use the big camera.

Here is one I took with the macro lens. It's a photo of one of my watches.

I used the Olloclip on my IPhone 4s, liked it and thought it was a nice little system. Sold it and got one for my 5S I never used. Its for sale, I have a Iphone 6 now.

Yes, I think I purchased the VicTsing brand ones. I would like to say it was less that $12 for the set.

I had an Olloclip with my iPhone 4. It was fun for a little bit, but I'm glad I bought it at a discount off ebay. The novelty wore off quickly because it was one more thing to carry around and I didn't like that it required my phone to be out of a case...a bigger pain for me considering my case is metal and screwed together with tiny allen head screws. That being said, I tend to use my camera phone a LOT, so it was worth experimenting to me. I particularly enjoyed the macro lens.
