Orion from the bathroom

On Island of Bali (as in many places in tropical Asia) the bathrooms have openings to the sky to help vent moisture from showers. Early one morning I needed to use facilities but even with light on I could see clear sky through the opening. I turned off lights and grabbed my 6D and shot Orion. You can still see glow from florescent bulb and reflection on shower head. The red is from the timer I held. Not enough time to do sequence for stacking but a lucky shot none the less.

Shooting the moon - so to speak - and shooting Orion . This actually has some nice creative framing. Thanks for sharing.

If you ever have the opportunity to hike down into the Grand Canyon they have designated campsites with pit toilets. They are three sided with one side and overhead completely open to the sky. Amazing views while you sit and do #2.
