My wife of 2 9 year s was at my side crawling under old houses, trudging through the swamp and even in city sewers at night. She was my wingman when out shooting macro. She had even trained our little toy poodle to stop and growl when he saw a spider or beetle or bug I guess he was a insect Bird dog(a 10 pound toy poodle with the heart of a lion) Sadly wife got very I'll in June 2013. I had to quite my job and take care of her. 5 months(December 29) later she was called home to Heaven. All of my normal thought process left home .Can't remember most of what I did but with brothers help I know I need to start up In macro again. Had to sell all my gear to help pay medical costs. Just got my package from Adorama. 7Dii, 100 2.8 is, mt-24, kenko tubes and a 17 -55 2.8, 100-400II pre-ordered on Nov 11. 17-55 focus inconsistently...returned it. The 100 is very sharp with no MA.
just want to thank everyone here for their posts and pictures. You will never know how much it meant to me to escape the pain and come Hang out for a few hours

THANKS TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!

Message received. That's a tough road. Sounds like you're leaning on the stronger shoulders around you and picking up the pieces the best you can, so keep it up. My condolences to you, and hope to hear more from you here.

I hear ya. My husband was diagnosed in Jan of 2013 and went home to heaven in October of 2014. It's hard to get back into a photo routine. I am converting his sickroom into a photo office but it's hard.
