This wait is killing me. My only fear is getting one used and having it act up or die on me. Going new seems like the least amount of headache, but maybe I'm just antsy. There are several used ones between adorama, amazon and probably b&h that I could snag. I'm still debating the all black vs two tone. I mean, one looks like a classic, the other a bit stealth.

Clearly I need help :/

Get black, I've owned both colors and would pick black over silver any day in the week.
What does your gut feeling say?

Congrats!

Did you go with black? Again, there's no wrong move to make with color scheme. I chose silver for a few reasons that are not important enough to list lol.

Went black! I think it's a tough choice either way, but for me the black just looked too nice to pass on.

It says delivery should be on the 13th, so I'm really hoping that's true cause I'll have the 13, 14 and 15th off from work and would love to get out and use it right away.

My luck, there will be a delay until Monday, but I guess I'll survive either way.

Got it from Adorama. Just ordered it this morning and it said 12/13 for delivery so I'm hoping that's the case. I just used whatever the basic shipping option was from them. Guessing it might be USPS Priority.

I knew it was too good to be true, my x100S won't be arriving tomorrow. I have to wait until Monday now, which is my last day off for the the rest of the year (sounds worse than it is).

Sigh. I don't think I've been this excited for gear in a while.

It's going to feel like forever until Monday. Luckily I'm off Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I'm hoping it will get delivered early in the day as the sun seems to go bye bye here around 4-5pm lately. I should focus on going out over the weekend with other gear but I'm on edge waiting for it.

I have one dr appt on Monday since my neck decided to hate me, so it better not end with me coming home to a "needed a signature" sticker from UPS.

Debating leaving a signed note on the door to leave it, just in case.

just adding to the thread because i just bought a near mint X100LE (all black edition) off ebay.

never used any of these cameras actually. never even held one, but have read so much about it. stepping "up" from my 7D w 50mm f/1.4 (i used this set up for years).

my logic was very simple: start off where the line started, get familiar with it, and take it one step at a time.

yes, technically maybe not as good as what i had or a x100s/t, but you know what, it's a camera i'll carry with me everywhere, and will allow me to grab shots i never would have otherwise, and it was on budget.

black does look amazing. can't wait to start shooting...
