There is a lot one can do with the sun in flat landscapes, because it is seen as soon as it breaks the horizon, or as soon as it dips back down to the horizon in the evening.

I think this flatlands thread is a great idea, because here on the forum we sometimes get people saying that they want to take nature and landscape photos, but lack inspiration and don't know what to shoot because they live in an area with no mountains. . The images posted here can help those flatlanders to see that there are indeed dynamic subjects to be photographed right there in the lowlands where they live, and they don't have to travel far to find worthy scenes to shoot.
