I'm still amazed by the dynamic range of this sensor. This shot almost looks like an HDR, but it's not! :)

A7r's not a rangefinder and as you know it doesn't play well with Leica's wide angle glass.

Really lol. To clarify how does the sensor of the A7r compare to the sensor of the M240 Mashimaro?

Its confusing isnt it ?

The Leica digital system started with the M8 - a 10mp 1.3x crop sensor
Then the M9 - 18mp full frame
M9P - an M9 with sapphire screen, no red dot and "leica" on the top plate
M Monochrom (or MM) - B+W only M9P
ME - M9 in bluey-grey paint, no frameline selector or USB port

M typ 240 (M240)
24MP FF, no USB port or Frameline selector, different (bigger) battery, LED illuminated framelines, shoots video, has live view
M-P - M240 with no red dot, leica script on top plate, has frameline selector (not sure on USB port)

Nice kit. I highly recommend the CV 21 Skopar. Lovely little lens (emphasis on the 'little').

Heard it is not good with digital. Something about to close to the sensor?
