want to drive the Zamboni!

I have a good friend who retired, but does this as a part time job now, and loves it. The rink is host to the Kamloops Blazers, a WHL Junior A team.

I am one of two people in the office today, everyone is taking off to try and use up their PTO that won't roll over. Nothing will get done today... nothing at all.

Well, I guess I should say nothing work related. I'm wishing I had brought in my hard drive so I could work on some graduation photos I shot this weekend for my brother.

Days like that I am glad I bring my camera with me.

I do that when we get a large snowstorm. most of the city is told to stay at home, schools get cancelled so 1 parent has to be home at least. Normally my wife will get to work from home.

Town becomes a ghost town and the office is empty, so I'll bring in my camera...

4 lanes of busy traffic and cars parked on the side at lunchtime... or a snow storm / blizzard = parking bans, and people told to stay off the roads. you'll get some nice vantage points that you normally would not get.

Only time this road is this empty - at this point, is when the Boston Marathon happens, I am by the finish line!

That is awesome. Snow shots here are dangerous, so many hillbillies with their four wheel drive trucks that think they are invincible. First day of snow two weeks ago there was 43 accidents in town in the first eight hours, and we are only about 10k people.

Have you tried a desk pop yet? Everyone's doing it. You should probably get the ball rolling this morning.

Chet, we don't carry fire arms inside the jail, so sadly, no desk pops. Unless I wanna pop off my pepper spray above my head. Which I would not find enjoyable myself.

Ever use your pepper spray as a seasoning like in that ATT commercial?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
