I was hoping to catch some ducks flying around, so I had the ISO at 640, trying to keep it as low as possible while keeping the shutter speed up. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. As you should be ! Thanks for filling me in. Good luck out there with your new cammy and keep up the good work ! You can call me Ned

No idea why this is set this way by default. While shooting race cars I had to remove the full memory card to use the 2nd. I don't have the manual handy to check this feature. Thank you for any help with this.

DaveCurtis Member ![]() More info Post edited over 6 years ago by DaveCurtis. | Dec 15, 2014 13:33 | #3130 Still shooting with the Canon D7 mkII, 300 F4, 1.4x extender. I did some test exposures taking the MFA much further than my original 2-3 units. I checked the images at 200% and finally decided that +6 would give me the best use of the DOF. ![]() Collared Dove DPP x CR2 sharp3 IMG_1806 crop ![]() ![]() The focus point was in the centre of the wing and the DOF contains the bird and the front of the perch. The CR2 file was processed according to the Art Morris and Arash Hazeghi DDP4 guide. I still can't get mkII CR2 files to open in Windows 7 Explorer or Photo Viewer. Anybody have any pointers please?
