Great sets Halston.Love the first shot.

Nice to see the vipers sporting the old school paint scheme.

#1 is excellent, but you already know that. I would be VERY happy to have that one...

#7 is nice but I'd prefer to be able to see the front of the car instead of the rear, and I think it could use a little more space ahead of the car.

If I'm honest, the rest do nothing for me. While all sharp, colorful and technically sound, they scream 'commercial' to me. By that I mean extremely tight crop, faster shutter and very common and 'easy' to capture. If that's what you were going for then you did well, but I prefer more creativity like the first image.

Just my two cents.

I agree to a point. Don't think any are 'easy' to capture though. Shooting for clients and outlets is how I make my living. So I do get to experiment and have fun during weekends but many of them want sharp and 'commercial' because of sponsors, drivers and what not.

However you can check out my portfolio and see that when there is some free time can have some fun ;)

What's wrong with pretty pictures of pretty cars? Yes, we have all seen photos like these ... but we have all seen beautiful members of the individually desirable gender and very few of us ever say, "Seen it all already ... meh. Another gorgeous person. So what."

Easy can be relative. I guarantee the first shot wasn't easy... I should have assumed they were for your clients.

And yes, I've viewed your portfolio before. I am not saying you can't take creative photos, but I critiqued those you have here.

Nothing is wrong with them. He achieved for his clients what they wanted. I critiqued them and shared my opinion that I find them boring. I did not critique the 'pretty cars', I critiqued the photos. A pretty car doesn't automatically make a stunning photograph.

My favorites are: #1, #3 and #6
Nice pictures, nice and sharp, yet I feel they are too much looking at the cars.

I do believe, to see a little bit more of the track would be nice.
