I am new to the whole digital picture and post-processing past-time; thus, I do a lot of reading and, the more I read, the deeper the hole gets.

That being said, I have been seeing a lot about "actions" and there are quite a few that I would like to experiment with; however, I am uncertain as to how to incorporate new actions in Elements 7.

Underneath the limited few included actions is a message that says "You may also add your own actions."; does anyone know how to add new actions to Elements 7 ?

Also, if I load an action that has steps Elements 7 is incapable of following, what will be the outcome; will the computer have a melt-down or the stock-market crash or what ?

Thanks for reading.

Buckskin, I think you might be interested in an "add-on" for PSE called Elements+. It brings out a lot of Photoshop functions that are hidden in PSE, and it costs a whopping $12. You can find it at http://elementsplus.net (external link). I've used it for PSE6 and now for PSE9. (There's a separate version of E+ for each version of PSE.) It really extends the functionality of PSE and makes it so much more than it is by itself.

Thank you so much.
I did not know that existed.
I will definitely show this to the wife (she probably has the twelve dollars).
