Incredible work here and I love the updates. You have far more patience than I do!

All 29 in one hit!!?? That's almost as big an effort as building it!

I could have read 50 pages had somebody not been slacking. :p I'm very impressed with the build, much more impressed with the reason for it. More power to you!

Cheers dudes. :D

The final pieces cut out for the Iron Man suit. Forearm and elbow armour.

Once these are done, it's time to start modifying it all to wear!

Both arms done. That's all the main parts of the suit fabricated. Now to start refining it part by part.

Looking great. I presume you've got a LOT of grinding and (possibly) filing ahead of you?

Beyond a shadow of a doubt mate. :D

Here you go. Time to go on a bit of a Christmas break for a few days. I think I've earned it.

Merry Christmas POTN!

I've been working in secret on a gift for my wife for Christmas. I saw the idea online somewhere and embellished on it a little.

The mini-arc-reactor pendant is just the rearranged parts of an internal hard drive motor. I bought a single LED, some thin insulated wire and a 3V battery, along with some beads in Iron Man colours from the local 2Dollar store.

The battery has a soft cover to hide behind her hair, but not pictured here.

Most important and got it right this time! I can bend my arm enough to replenish fluids by myself during the long gigs in a steel suit! Rock on!

IMAGE: http://i.imgur.com/rYMR9Hl.jpg

Legs are a fantastic fit. I can bend to 90 degrees, there's room for padding too. I have to pull them up slightly to get them off the ankles and up into the crutch more, so some nylon straps will fix them to the hip pods to sort that out.
