Hood is always spectacular, but you picked a prime location for the shot.

Brings back a lot of very fond memories. We spent two months in Central Oregon this year hiking and photographing. Mount Hood was one of our favorite areas. If you haven't yet, go and have breakfast at the Mount Hood Lodge - one of the best breakfasts we've ever had:-)

5Dmaniac, I haven't eaten at Timberline yet, but it is definitely in my plans. My dad raves about breakfast at that lodge all the time.

Bill, no filters used on this one. Just a single shot, then processed in PS.
