This is a test shot. ISO 6400, Sigma 50-500, 1/640 sec exposure. Very cloudy day. I'm pleased with the results.

It is Micro Focus Adjustment, it allows you to adjust the focal plane of the lens during auto focus, so, for example if the lens is front focusing slightly you can adjust it in the camera to compensate, it's not possible with all cameras, but the 7DII has the functionality.
You can find a multitude of videos etc explaining the process on YouTube, well worth looking at before attempting any adjustments on your lenses, just so that the process is clear and you make the adjustments you need to improve the focus rather than potentially make things worse.

Thanks guys i have to look into it because i find some of my bird shots are soft when i have the 70 to 300 maxed out on focal length.
