Hi all,

Here is a Triumph Thunderbird 900 from 1995,

This is my first post in transportation for quite some time. Let me know what you think.

Pretty shot! The chrome looks great, but I wish it were sharper.

Thank you for the feedback, love taking advantage of the yellows in autumn

I have had it printed and it looks sharp having been printed?

I will have a closer look on the iMac later

Kickstand shots are hard to pull off IMO when done from the side. If you get the chance, try moving to an angle off the front, turn the handlebars the opposite way from where you're shooting. Most times, I think the kickstand side looks better in the photo shot from down low. The bike angle helps offset the low angle shot IMO.

I do like the bike. Thanks for sharing.

I like the shot, the b/g colours make the bike stand out. As to the sharpness, what resolution is it u/l in? I think the original would have been sharp, but various websites change things a little. (just my opinion tho, could be totally wrong) I couldn't find the dimensions on your hosting site.

Love the bike, is it an old bike, or new retro style?

Thank you.

I'm not at the computer at the moment, I think it's 2048 pixels on the longest edge by memory.

It's a 1995 bike, coming up to 20 years old now

Nice bike! I would have preferred aperture around 5.6 to 6.3 to get more of it in focus. Still a nice shot, though.

When you reduce the size of the file for the web, you should resharpen it for that size. And as Gbgb said, some websites F up your images for their convenience. ; )

I resized in Lightroom, I will check the output sharpening.
If not I will try uploading to a different site, see if that works
