Hi, I tried to shoot a nice Christmas photo for the grandparents... Any comments?
It's my 5-year old daughter...

That is a lovely shot, with a great expression. The one thing I would watch (and I can't tell on my monitor at work) is to be sure the white balance is good. All that white trim should be clean.

Great picture and pose, kids that like the camera are just fun to shoot!

Some ideas:
- Work on the curves a bit to bring out portions of the photos more, and modify the white balance a bit
- Take the background and do things like blur it out, or change the colors
- Smart sharpen just the pertinent details
- Crop a bit more perhaps.

Here is what I did with a few minutes of time, just to give you a idea of these small post processing steps.

@TeamSpeed thanks for the advice, I'll have to get more into the curves in PS, till now I haven't used this tool, the output never was what I have hoped for...
