The build quality of this camera I rate as a perfect 10. It's a completely weather proofed unit which makes it perfect for use in moderate rain and snow. The weight of the camera is only slightly heavier than my 7D, which I like. I'll grant, the menus are somewhat burdensome in the beginning but they quickly became second nature to me.
As far as ISO is concerned, this Camera is very good up to 25,600, any higher... ie H1 or H2 are there if you do not have a Flash, but the image tends to be chromatically very noisy.
I have faith in the belief that the 5D Mark 4 will attend to this noise and the highest ISO will be much more usable.
In summary, I feel that my choice to purchase the Canon 5D Mark lll was well founded . The price point at that time was what i wanted to spend on this camera.
