New England (Rhode Island) from my perspective

I've been shooting in the water now for about 2 years, I still find it challenging and the most rewarding place to shoot. Its taken me from my home in Connecticut on regular trips to Rhode Island, the occasional trip up the coast to New Hampshire or Maine and as far as Hawaii. But this thread I'll leave to the New England images. As much as I hate cold water New England beaches have a certain charm about them.

I really like the last one, particularly the DOF and composition. The greenish tint of the water gives away it's temperate nature vs. tropical blues.

Most of the time once the wave is barreling over you you're low enough in the water to just slide out the back. Every now and then you take a little trip over the falls and end up taking a beating but its worth it.

Your fifth and last are really nice, perhaps adjust the horizon on the last to bring it flat and 'sea level'? There's a case for only showing your best perhaps too, as a general rule.

I'll admit a certain envy, here out local sea is muddy shallow and brown and hideously cold.

While I would generally agree with the horizon bit, but with fisheye shots in the water having the beach angled a little is pretty common and often more flattering than being flat.
