My first pics of a Monarch Butterfly. These were taken at Murray Family Farms near Bakersfield, California in October of this year, during their pumpkin patch. As my mother in law and I chased my then almost 3 year old daughter around, I watched the butterflies and wanted some pics before the day was up, so I took these while my daughter sat down and ate a snack with her grandma.

This is the 2nd time I've owned a 50d. I tend to lean towards these older models that make shooting simple. This one paired with a 5dc are the perfect combo for my needs.
I did some MFA on this Tamron lens after shooting these ones. It was a little bit off as you can see.
