Thanks for the info. You are more skilled than I; I spent about 3 hours one day trying to catch the same effect (triggering the flash manually). I got some nice frames but no mushroom umbrellas ;)

I was inspired by a previous entry to this thread, sorry, but I don't remember exactly who posted it.

I used a different piece of paper for the bounce flash in the second photo, it was just a printout of red/blue with a few yellow splotches on it that I made quickly in photoshop.

Love all the setup shots. It is really interesting and educational to see all of them.

I bought this pint glass from a group of content creators online. One of there features is best of worst in which the watch b-movies (often vhs) and comment, make joke, ect.

Just for fun I wanted to do a product shot for there pint glass incorporating elements from the show and with is what I came up with.

I always find it a challenge when families choose an area to stage photographs. Gelled the speed lights with a full CTO to match the ambient.

forgive me, it's new years and I'm a bit drunk, but what are those? from here they look like a set-piece in 50 shades of grey.

Looking at the second photo, they look like chalk holders for snooker cues.

Mind you I've never seen anything like it.
