Ieatstars your photos always seem to have a really clean look to them. The whites always look really bright and the colors are vibrant. Do you mind sharing your editing process?

Clean shots indeed, But I bet it has more to do with proper exposure rather than PP trickery.

EDIT…Just had a stroll through you're flickr and you certainly have a nice pop to your color images as well!

This. I have no time for editing and am a fan of getting as much out of the camera as possible (<-- that's a happy marriage :D). Tweak in-camera settings to your liking (play around with it), and lighting is everything. This shot was on a nice day outdoors. Really can't go wrong.

Thank you both for the kind words!

Well either way they look great. I can only get my colors to pop out of camera if I shoot in jpeg. When I shoot in raw there is definitely a loss of vibrance for me except for reds.

And I'm completely guilty of shooting JPG. Again, no time. I wish I did, I just haven't been able to make raw work (yet). One day.

Well you've done a fantastic job at it. I am in love with this little lens.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue with their 28mm, but mine had a really loose barrel that got worse with time. I decided to finally fix it today and made a quick video for anyone else who may wish to repair theirs without sending it in to Canon.

I liked this lens just fine on my old Rebel, but I've absolutely fallen in love with it over the last week since I got my 6D. I've been using this lens almost exclusively now.

Just ordered this lens from Amazon. I will have a nice compact kit now with the 28 1.8, 40 pancake and 85 1.8. Add in the fact that I have a 5D classic and 60d so I have all of those focal lengths plus the 1.6 crop FoV too. I am excited try the 28 on my 5Dc.

You have to love those who are screaming and protesting about racism yet holding up black power/pride fists. Irony and hypocrisy at its finest.
Nice pics though ;)

The weather this winter has been as horrible as it gets. 0 degrees Celcius, raining all the time and no texture overcast sky. Had to come out and do something with my camera outside though :)

Great little lens. Can't wait to try it on a FF body one day.

Yeah Minnesota winters suck as well. However the overcast skies makes for beautiful light - just try and not get the sky in it haha - like your bike rack picture.

Thanks! Yeah, I like the reflections on wet surfaces and diffused light but it is not so nice being outside when it is cold windy and rainy. Was using an umbrella to protect myself or rather the camera from the rain. The wind around those big buildings was messing with me big time. Must get better clothes I suppose. For myself and the camera :)
