Diablo lake our last trip on North Cascade Highway, This was handheld because someone forgot his tripod quick release plate at home. Happy New Year All!!!

The 10-18 looks like it holds it own against the 10-22, which I own and love. And it has IS.

Ηi everybody! Back from a skiing holiday in Mont Ste Anne, Quebec. I took with me my Xmas present, the Canon Powershot SX700IS. I got this camera specifically for skiing, because of its compactness and powerful zoom (25-750 in 35 mm terms). The sensor quality is so and so, it will not accept heavy cropping, the lens on the other hand is pretty good.

I surely will... though it's likely to be a few weeks before I make a move. Need a bit of time to recover after Christmas. And keeping an eye open in case there's any hiccups in the pricing, or if Canon gets any refurbs back back into stock. I should be so lucky... :rolleyes:
