Yep, lots of little league softball, junior high softball and high school baseball.
It works great for those sports.

Thanks for the samples, they look great!

I was flicking a coin over the last few weeks and ultimately went with a refurbished 2x III tc for my 200 2.8L. I have had great results with the combo mostly even though I have had very limited use with it(weather). I bought mainly to get me some reach at low cost. If I was to go with the tammy I'd have to sell my lovely 200 2.8L. The 200 is magic but also has limited use. It's IMO a specialty lens and for me doesn't see too much time for my style of shooting. Shooting 200mm and 2.8 is nice though when I am using it.

2 things however. I forgot how short 400mm is on FF for wildlife(especially birds). The other being there seems to be a focusing issue with this refurb maybe. I'll get a run of photos where nothing is in focus, like shooting through Vaseline. I bought off of Amazon through a 3rd party(Amazon direct still) but I'm not chancing it and sending it back.

I just bought the 150-600 instead of a new 2xiii again. I'll miss the 200L for candid outside shots and shooting my son sports but the tammy will see a lot more time.

Here is my latest contributions to the thread. With advice from Peter, I took a day trip to catch the Eagles/Owls. These are some of the better shots from today. I also concluded that for BIF I will need to get either a 7d or 5diii for the faster AF and more AF points.
