Last weekend was county championship week for cross-country running here in the UK.

We like to hope they'll have a life time in the sport. :-)

These are great. I was out taking photos of the local running club today, for their web site. I had the 24-105 on a 5D3 but wish I had taken a longer lens. Thanks for the inspiration!

You should be fine with 24-105, I mainly use a 70-200 and often have to jump down to 70mm when trying to get individual shots of each runner when they come in a pack. There is a tog I regulaly see at cross country with a 50mm on, but boy they must be getting close to fill his frame. ;-)a
