Have you had much luck with eagles in flight with the 6D? I have a 6D paired up with my 100-400 and had fair luck with it about a week ago. Poor light that day didn't help much.

I did play with the custom function settings in the menu after last week and perhaps will give it another try on the Mississippi River this weekend. I just sold my 60D this past Sunday and I'm on the fence with the 7D Mark II. Reviews seemed mixed however I've seen some good photo's from it here and on Fred Miranda.

I actually didn't touch the sharpness sliders whatsoever in LR. The only thing I did was crop a bit and fiddle with the exposure/coloring before exporting them to PS. In PS I just resized the images for web publishing and added the small border. Canon 6D, & Sony α6000
