I don't know if this even has a name. Found this along a road in the New River Gorge area in West Virginia.
Looks like a beautiful waterfall!

Bcaps I was a little buzzed when I took this More info Post edited over 8 years ago by Bcaps. (2 edits in all) | Jan 07, 2015 20:48 | #850 Late in the afternoon and heading from the Portland airport to my hotel in Hood River for what was to be a 10 day trip to the Columbia River Gorge, I decided to stop and check out Elowah Falls as it is a quick mile or so hike from the trailhead. As I neared the end of the trail I turned the corner and seeing the falls I was bummed at how low the water flow was. The gentle breeze was able to push the falling water all over the place. Im curious to know why you didn't grab the rock and take another shot if it bugged you that much... Canon 6D, & Sony α6000

Without the leaf, the rock would seem almost non existent. Im curious to know why you didn't grab the rock and take another shot if it bugged you that much... Oh, I was just kidding about the leaf. But you know how some people are, the first thing they say is, "Did you put that leaf there", so I was just kind of poking fun at that. There were actually a few dead leafs clinging to the top of that rock and I swapped them out for the colorful yellow one. Heck, I've been known to see a colorful fall leaf on the trail and stow it in my backpack, just waiting for the right moment to use it. - Dave | flickr
