So as to the week numbers. I have made mistakes two weeks in a row.
So looking back over the weeks, I found that we have been using the wrong numbers
since July of 2014..

I will correct the numbers starting with the next theme
We are actually on week number 448.. So next week look forward
to WWPW 449  :p
...or something like that :-P

LOL. I noticed it a couple of months ago. WWPW 449 for next week sounds about right.

Well... I think that's lovely, Terry. :-)

Thanks Stina. Still hoping we get some sunlight one of these day.:-)

Good ones, Stina and Terry. I have to say that I'm struggling with the theme. Can't think of anything really. So I applaud you for having thought of something at all. This is a difficult one...

Thanks Levina. I should mention that I got to meet up with one of your Belgium neighbors today, yes, I know you are not from Belgium, but it was very interesting hearing and talking about your part of the world.:-)

Good start everyone!

Love those tiny toys Stina! Seems like they would be hard to play with,
and certainly not for those under 5 years of age

Terry! Lovely shot.. Nothing poor about it!

Nice interpretation Pete and well executed...

Sorry for the shot being a little out of focus. A bit under the weather and moved at the last instant.

Did not mean anything about the numbers. Just noticed and thought when I saw it it was just a "tiny" mistake and fit the thread title

Hi everyone...and a happy new year to all. I have been away and for part of the time since returning have been trying to rebuild my computer connections after a rather serious malfunction.

Anyway, enough of that...had to get used to this new site as well, and it took a while to find you all, so to celebrate I went out and found this little guy in the garden. Not the greatest effort but it gets me back in this thread which I really enjoy.

Richard!!! I assumed you were too busy building boats to play, but I'm so glad to see you back! A happy 2015 to you too, my friend.
And that's a great macro that fits the theme perfectly.

Pete, I didn't know what K-cups were so looked it up. It's a bit like instant coffee, right? Do you simply pour boiling water on it?

I didn't know what to do, so did some silly things in Photoshop. All shots were taken this week of course!

Here I used my old Powershot in Macro mode for the needle and my old 40D with 50/1.8 for the nik-naks.

Those are really cool shots Levina. Especially like the biblical reference in the second shot.

Nice work Levina.

By the way, K-cups are similar to the Nespresso capsules that you use in a capsule (cup) machine. It's ground coffee in individual servings. When we were in Amsterdam in April, we shopped at de Bijenkorf. On one of the upper floors they had a huge section just for Nespresso capsules with people taking numbers and waiting to meet with a Nespresso "sales consultant." It was a bit over the top for me.
