When you use a ultra wide angle, you MUST use something in the foreground to catch the viewers eye. Look for a plant in flower, an unusual shaped/coloured rock anything to get some interest in the shot. Then look to showcase what was a nice sky and view.
1) no focal point and the view is a spec on the horizon ( a classic mis use of and ultra wide lens, nothing strong in the foreground )
2) a hazy shot with nothing of interest to look at. ( wrong time of day maybe )
3) you've don't the right thing, got down low to get the pebbles into the foreground, but they aren't sharp, where were your focus points ? The sky is way too blue, you can see where the filter has been used by the disparity between light and dark blue.
