That sounds like some of the places around me with the snowy owls. Kind of takes away from the moment when there are 50 other photographers there. I'm picking up a Nikon mount Tammy tomorrow, can't wait to be back out shooting

And I think number of people when I was there is to see the pair of Long-eared Owl which I think it is rare in WA or in that area. But the Short-eared Owls are there always.

Snowy that is been in my list for a couple of years now and I have not seen one.

Peter you said 'But the Short-eared Owls are there always.' That is something we need to talk about someday!

This is one of the best bird-in-flight photos I've ever seen in my life.

What an amazing photograph. Great job! Very inspiring.

Went out to the airport again today hoping for some good vortex shots as it is really humid here at the moment.

I only got a couple of good ones though - the humidity must have eased a bit - the rest were just boring shots against a grey sky!!

So I went to the other side of the airport to see what was happening...Melbourne Airport is not the easiest of places for getting shots of Aircraft on the ground without fencing in the way.

I did manage an A330 drying the runway with the reverse thrusters

As well as one departure - all other departures were using the cross runway

What an amazing photograph. Great job! Very inspiring.

Thank you very much for the kind words! I was very fortunate to get that shot while the two were next to each other in air.
