bumpintheroad - Why do these look odd? Great images and they look great but are those HDR's? Just look a little strange but intriguing :) Nice work.

Inspires me to take my Jeep out for some fun, then I remember that it's 1 degree outside and my Jeeps O2 sensor relay failed when it was -5 last week lol.

Not HDR exactly, but I did pull the highlights and push the shadows significantly to make up for the harsh, noontime sun. At first I didn't like the over processed look. But then I thought they looked like the kind of air brushed artwork used in vehicle manufacturer brochures from the 50's and 60's. So I went with it as a kind of style for the show, especially with the older Jeeps.

@ MSTG46

Im guessing this was all natural light. Can you tell me the process on your second one or should I just sign up for some PS workshop classes? I feel like I can't produce these images even though I have LR and PS :P

Very nice defender. I'd love one, but almost impossible in the US.

When I worked at a Rover dealership I drove at least 4-5 different Defender 90s and 110s... they aren't impossible to find just very overpriced.

Very nice images though my heart goes for that sand color Nissan Maxima 1995 that its rare tire is almost bursting. This must be a picture of mall's parking lot during Christmas shopping days.:)

You're correct, this was natural light. For this photo, I opened 2 or 3 versions of the same RAW file, each one having different exposure settings based on what I wanted to be lighter and what I wanted to be darker. Then I used layer masked and gradient filters to get the photo.
