Cheers, Paul.
If it moves, shoot it. If it shoots back, get a bigger lens.

Hey all,

Im going to buy a Datacolor Spyder4 Express, was going to buy the Pro, but don't think the extra $100 is worth it for me.
Has anyone used them before?
Also has anyone dealt much with photo warehouse as that's where i plan to buy it from? ( first time shopping there :D )

Cheers all :D

I use the Spyder 4 pro to calibrate all 3 of my monitors. 2 different sizes, using 3 different versions of the same panel and 2 different colour spaces, yet everything matches across all 3 of them, so it does do a good job.
The Express is much the same, just slightly less functional software meaning you can only calibrate one monitor at a time.

The the only problem with it is you have to go visit Photo Whorehouse to buy one.

Cheers Moppie, i only have on screen (laptop) possibly another screen if i move to my computer (if the wife lets me change the spare room into a computer room)

there's two locations in Auckland, neither look all that easy to park at to be honest. will have to try stop in at one during the week i guess.

The store on Great North road has pretty good parking right out the front. It's never full.

They weren't as jumpy as normal so happy getting as close as I did.

I would rather go to Auckland Camera centre or Progear. I have found either of them quite good to deal with.
