selling my M-E to help fund it, fell in love first time i used it, wanted to wait to sell, incase i didnt like it, but it was on craigslist the next day. Only concern is using it in too cold a weather, its 20 degrees or less in NYC right now.

my new favorite camera

Nice! I'm somewhat considering a used M9 or M240, we'll see what used prices are like by the start of summer...

I got a pretty spectacular deal on a like-new M-E (think less than you'd pay for a well-used M9), plus a trade. I had to do it! ;)

Hello group, my Name is Bill W and I use an M8. :-P
Actually my name's Richard, but I couldn't resist making the Al-Anon reference.
I've owned my Leica for a few years and have an assortment of Leica & Non-Leica Lenses. I enjoy it for being a rangefinder and for giving me easy access to Infrared Photography. One man's flaw is another man's blessing in disguise.

Richard W.

ps: I've been away from POTN for awhile and I think I better update my gear list.

1DmkII, Zeiss 50mm f1.8, Leica Summicron Fifty, & Elmarit Ninety, via Mount Adapters and Some Crappy Zooms!
