Reflection of sunset in this Barred Owl's eye. This owl got very used to people and flew down and perched within 15 feet of me, this is still a fairly tight crop though

I would like to share a link from one of the photographer in FM that I admire, Taken with his 7D2 and Tamron in HIGH ISO.

To Moderator, If this is not ok kindly delete my post. Thank you.

I thought you said high ISO. Now that I have my 6D, 1600 hardly seems high to me. But that shot he took is SHARP. Thanks for sharing, even if it eventually gets deleted since it is a cross forum post.

Ha! I am not aware that cross forum posting (link) is prohibited, No wonder I included that if it is not ok kindly delete it to the mods. Now I know and I will ask them to delete it. Thanks Ron. BTW I stumbled to that when I am browsing FM forum for 500mm when I saw it and got curious. Anyway after seeing it now I wonder if I really need the EF500mm lens or I simply need to upgrade to 7D2.

I am not sure that cross posting is prohibited. That is Pekka's decision to make. But I have not seen a lot of cross forum posts so I am not sure if it is allowed or not.

Great owl shot ^^^ I really like way there is a hint of mystery to this photo. I think the obstructing branches actually add to the photo in this case.

Thank you all for the nice words. I had to make sue and get the best shot available with the branches in the way.
