More posts per page?

Been addressed multiple times, already. It's in the works/being considered.

I can't access the forum from work.
This only happened since the format was changed.
I can log in but get an error message when I try to post.

What is the most likely reason for this?

Corporate firewall?

Is the error message happening when you hit "preview & save draft" or when you hit submit? What is the error message? You can PM me if you think it contains sensitive data.

It's possible it's the firewall, but I didn't have any problems until lately.
The error message is happening when I hit "all" of the above.
I can't remember the error message right off, but it mentions something about is your server down...try again later.
I'll write the message down next chance I get.

I love change and I love new things and i know i can get used to this, but i will say i do not like the main page, the lack of "clear" separation between sections causes the eyes to do more vs looking at solid bars or a very clear separation between sections.

Everything just flows like a poorly written paragraph with no punctuation.

I think some form of shading or color difference between the sections could be useful.

[EDIT] Maybe something didnt load right before, as the main page was all white for me with no shading, now i see the grey between sections and the titles are white.

Also i would make the table size the same size for Threads / Posts instead of it being different sizes pending on posts, keeps the main page look more consistent.

Have you tried going to "For Your Eyes Only" then "Account Settings" and tried changing your margins (3rd item down)?

This is what I'm experiencing at work when I try to post.
I can log in, but I'm getting the following error messages when I try to hit Submit or Preview & Save Draft:

Submit: Some services are down, saving your text is not possible right now. Please try again in a moment.

Preview & Save Draft: Either some forum services are down or your internet connection is down. Preview is not possible right now. Please try again in a moment.

This problem started after the forum change, I had no problem previously.

I've reached the max time I can read this new forum, so I'll keep it short .
The new look does indeed still give me headaches - literally .

Regular browser (Safari on Mac OSX 10.9.x) .
Fonts, layout, thread seperation, colours, controls, it is a headache .
So is usability in some respects .

Pekka totally sucks for ruining my forum navigation experience. No - not on POTN, but on other forums. On other boards, I've recently found myself doing things like clicking on the side margins and getting grumpy when it doesn't take me back to the top of the page. Thanks a lot.

it happens. i do it all the time, waiting to automatically go to the top of the page...

I have one request: on the keyboard, please consider mapping the left/right arrow buttons to advance the pages forward and back within a post.

Imgur.com does something similar to this and I'm very spoiled by it. I am surprised that this hasn't been thought of sooner and that this is not a widely adopted practice. I've always found using the mouse to find and click on those page numbers at the bottom of each long post on forums (not just your forum) to be an inefficient way to advance the pages. In my opinion, keyboard is better for this job: way less hunting, my hand stay right where it is, and my eyes continue to look at where they were looking at.

Edited to add: Not just within a post but anywhere those set of page numbers show up, the cursor buttons ought to work on those, too.

Just a suggestion.

Since the latest update, I don't know where to see who likes my posts.

It would be nice to get a notification when someone "likes" your post. I "like" posts, and I'd like those people to know it. I don't always have time or even have anything to say, that's what "likes" are for; to NOTIFY someone that you like their post without having to post and say it.
