Congratulations to the co-winners and to all the participants.
Some nice entries and clever interpretations. I liked the literal interpretation of teekay (uplifted)
Thank you Carolyn for running and judging the challenge this week and for the first place.

I posted again a picture of my grandson, but this time I went to the soccer game with a clear idea of what to shot. He is always that happy when his team wins, mainly because it means that the the rival goalkeeper got more goals than him.

The lucky part was that they won! :)

I will post a new challenge as soon as possible.

Thank you for selecting my image as one of the top three. Oddly, it's taken at exactly the same spot as my prior "winning" entry (if winning a two-picture contest is a win) on my walk to work from the bus stop. This couple rides in too, and is always very lovey-dovey. I'm old school in the romance department. I love to see couples holding hands. Such a simple thing, but it carries so much meaning.

Congratulations to Rafael, Spoco57 and HWolf for fine shots that truly met the spirit of this challenge. Given the cold snowy weather and general post-Christmas blahs in my area, all I could think of was that shot of a cherry-picker in an effort to uplift the number of entries.;-)a

Congrats to Rafael and HWolf, and thanks for the nod for the sweet spot, Car.

I admired everyone's efforts. It's fun to stretch the imagination. I contemplated photographing the smoke from my woodstove chimney as an entry, but it's been so cold and dark gray around here for the last two months that I can hardly bring myself to pick up my camera, so I went with one of my favorite summer subjects, Niagara Falls. This is Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side, from a 100 mile bike trip my wife and I take on the Niagara Peninsula each summer.

Thanks so much for hosting.

Steve

Congratulations to all, and thanks to Carolyn. This theme allowed a broad range of interpretations, and it brought forth an interesting variety.
