hey guys, looking for a fuji setup (probably the XE2) for mainly for travel and landscapes.

what lens setup would you guys recommend? i'm thinking the:

10-24mm + 23mm 1.4

i think the 35mm may be too tight for walk around/street/food photos?

or add 18-55mm for versatility? i'm trying to keep it at 2 lenses, 3 max.

any suggestions?

I would recommend the 18-55, it is a fantastic lens. I also recently purchased a 35mm , which is also a great lens which I was planning on using for family indoor photos, but so far it has not been off my camera.

That does seem to be what happened... which is really sad. I'm still hoping they'll release a new leap in their sensor tech with the X-Pro2 this year. Heck, if it's got useable color RAW files at ISO12,800 I'll get it instead of the a7S once I sell my a7R :)

Not me - I've done rather the opposite! I was supposed to sell an X Pro-1 with 35/1.4 for a friend but somehow not only ended up keeping it for myself but buying a 18-55OIS, a spare battery and an EF-20 flash (all pretty cheaply) to go with it. My excuse is that it will fill a purpose, replacing my old Canon 30D and 18-55IS as the camera I take to the pub or use in other places or circumstances where I don't want to risk one of my primary / more expensive cameras. But in reality I used it on a trip and I liked it enough that I wanted to keep it (especially in combo with the 35). I can't really justify it, even to myself. But, then again, "because I just want it" should be enough, now shouldn't it?

Nope. Still have my X-T1, 23mm, and 56mm lenses, and still enjoying them. Not enough time in the day for picture making lately :(.

Finally found this thread back after the whole forum redesign (were they on drugs when they did this?)

A shot from 2 days ago. X-E1 & 56mm. Crazy mild winter here in Calgary so far. Shooting outside in January without thick wintercoats is strange...

Picked up a black x100t and intend to use that as my only camera for the time being. Went all in with the E-M1, in fact maybe too far in, ended up dropping close to $4k on the system before deciding that a full m4/3 despite being smaller/lighter than a DSLR, does in fact weigh a noticeable amount if you decide to carry the full kit and still led me to overanalyze every shot.

So pairing that down to just the x100t while I wait out what happens next. I'm really intrigued by the possibility of an a7000 with the rumored specs (weather sealing, IBIS, tri-navi, etc) and the X-Pro 2. Basically confirms that I'm a fan of the rangefinder style with smaller mirrorless cameras and I prefer the DSLR style with actual DSLRs.

I used the rokinon 12mm lens but ended up cropping it quite a bit in post to get this framing. I dont normally do the slanted crop and added the tilt shift via snapseed, I think it works for this image. Appreciate any thoughts.
