Even though this lens isn't fast as an f2.8 lens, depending on what you shoot, I think it still produces very nice bokeh.

DavidArbogast Cream of the Crop More info | Jan 24, 2015 19:48 | #52 Gene, I wanted to test out my new FE lenses (24-70mm and 70-200mm), so I popped over to the Combat Air Museum in Topeka. Got to take in that amazing scale model of the USS Oriskany. It was a great place for lens testing. U.S. Air Force David | Flickr

Jan 29, 2015 11:08 | #57 Anyone else disappointed with the distortion on this lens? I mostly shoot landscapes and getting a straight horizon is very rare. A lot of distortion on either ends of the zoom range. Easy enough fix in post, even though imo a lens at this price range shouldn't be this bad.. Fixing it in post requires cropping... Glad I bought the body with 36mp |Sony A7r|Rok 14 f/2.8|24-105 f/4L|40mm f/2.8|Metabones IV|

I would have think a uwa have something like the distortion so I cant believe it's on a standard zoom. even with canon's 17-40L uwa wasn't aweful at all.
