Eat your hearts out, you northerners! Here's a bunch of Kiwis out hunting for groceries. We do it hard, down here...sometimes it takes days of hard hunting to find a full trolley!

More Nelson street art. This one is for Steve...our Ace photographer of firemen at their work! The mural is on the side of the Nelson Firehouse, and that is their training tower in the background.

Those are both great, Ricardo. Great start!!:-D

Thank you Stina. We are lucky in Nelson to have a lot of street art, but I'm sure there will be a ton of creative shots from all over. My memory of Melbourne, for instance, is that there was a huge amount of art....

Ricardo, with such resources locally, this is your week to shine.

Today we had one of those adventures in the interminable series of shopping trips to select house parts. I took advantage of being in an industrial district to catch graffiti.

Colorful graffiti on old building; motorcyclist entering at right.

I seem to need to work on timing.

Yes, they made it easy to show which photo you're commenting on when the post you quoted contains other photos.

Great opening shots, Ricardo! You have some talented artists there!

Oh, great color in your first shot. Love the timing comment. At least you were consistent. :-)

It'll be harder for me to find some street art this week, but I will try!

I'm confused - I see the little thumbnails in OhLook's post.

What am I missing here?

I like some of the improvements in button placement, but I liked the clean white layout in Version 1 better too.

Ricardo's post has a photo. I'm quoting it to see whether my reply will get a thumbnail. The URL for the photo isn't showing in the quoted matter where I type or in the Preview.

EDIT: No thumbnail.

There's no URL because the image is hosted by the AMASS server. I seem to recall that was the case before. EDIT: I went back and checked...

When I go back to one of my "attached" image posts from last week, the image thumbnail isn't there,
but PHOTO: CLICK TO VIEW appears with a note that says VIEWABLE ONLY IN ORIGINAL POST, PHOTO HOSTED BY FORUM

You are so right. Then what's missing is the notice that replaces the thumbnail for an embedded image. I'll revise my post in Software Talk.

I love that colorful graffiti shot, Oh and the G15 is a hard camera to time shots with.

Terrific graffiti, Oh! That first one is such a complex piece, and the colours are great.

Here are two from our town...taken barely 50m apart, though they are about as different as they could be.

I thought that the second one, (presumably a Banksy copy), really illustrates how seriously our defence forces take security! (Actually, that's just a car park on the other side of the fence...we don't have soldiers stationed here!)
