in my honest opinion, it's a adequate, not great lens. A great lens would be a 70-200mk2 or any of canon's super telephoto lenses.

I have been eyeballing one of these for a while. Went ahead an purchased. I am not expecting L glass quality, just a different look. I will post up my results when I get it!
