Shot these in a beautifully restored bed and breakfast originally built in 1906, just one block off the beach...the structure of the home survived every hurricane since, including Katrina...

Very nice, I rather like no 2 and 3 is fabulous. No 1 seeems a little soft - but that could well be my eyes!

The second one is moody and emotive, love the color too. Nice work.

Well captured. They really pull me back to the feel of the era.

Thanks everyone, so much...it was a cool shoot. The owner of the B&B is also a photography enthusiast, so he was very accomodating...even had time period music playing to create the vibe...

All the photos are beautiful but #3 rocks. This is some of the best work I've seen from you.

These are cracking Russ.
I've followed your path from earlier days, it's obvious you've listened, implemented ideas and improved beyond expectation.
You've set the bar very high for yourself with this set.
3 is simply sublime.

Tons of enthusiasm, loads of kit, limited skill...

Thanks again, very much...I have received loads of help on this forum, that is certain. What also helped tremendously was going to a full frame camera (5D Classic), finally going to strobe with beauty dish and moving from Paintshop Pro to Lightroom and Photoshop. What's next is a 24-70 zoom...this was a difficult shoot, because I was limited to my cheap 50mm prime, and quarters were close in the b&b...

It's not the equipment that takes a great photo, my friend.
