I was rather annoyed by the floor tile design, but you can't do much about that while taking pictures.

Wood flooring is annoying?! I don't love the glossy finish, but I love wood flooring. That staircase is impressive for a residential interior.

I asked earlier about the Metabones adapter because this is a classic case of where I cannot trust using my a7R with TS-E lenses - I get horrible bloom/glare from off-frame light sources (as compared to the lens on the 5D III). There doesn't appear to be anything terribly wrong in these images though. There is a bit of an off-frame glow/glare/bloom (whatever it's called) in the first image: a vertical glow from the top of the frame centered over the staircase.

I would love to just sell my 5D III and live with the a7R, but that flare/glare/whatever caused by either the adapter or a7R is holding me back.

I like the images, and it's an interesting looking interior but I wonder what the actual colors are. As challenging as it can be sometimes, I think consistent white balance/colors are important, especially if it's a commercial job.

Its more of a cross between both. My client was extremely happy with the end result and it's all that matters at the end of the day. Both pictures are HDR.

That's because it was an 1" exposure. It wasn't that bright. That's just the nature of real estate photography again. I don't have time to setup lights and make it looks perfect. You do what you can.

It's a 4 millions dollars listing so if you want, you can really do something about it :-)

Damn, crazy amount of money. By the way, there's nothing wrong with your pictures in my opinion.

There's nothing wrong with wood flooring, but I don't like the large amount of shades of brown and the various different patterns in the wooden floor. I'm wondering if there are any decent EF to (F)E adapters (with aperture control and IS support) since all of them appear to have some kind of issue?

Is that a beach front home by any chance? The structure seemed to look like it.

nice house, and yes, the charger is annoying, otherwise, nice and clean images.

Have you replaced the A7R lens mount with a fotodiox e-tough mount. Solves some mysterious ailments.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

I have indeed! Sadly that didn't fix the issue, though it did improve the lens mount substantially.

I'm 99.9% certain the problem is an internal reflection issue with the adapter itself. The only thing I have left to try (other than a new adapter) is to flock my Metabones IV. Thankfully someone just posted cutting plans for the Metabones IV just last week: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?topic=97089.0 (external link) So, I will give that a try.

With the sigma 50mm f1.4 on the A7s with the Metabones IV. The manual zoom magnify actually works!

Got a chance to finally visit the Intrepid Museum here in NYC. Just two images for now. More to come:

The former USS Growler is the only American guided missile submarine open to the public. This is an image of the AFT Torpedo Room. You can see one of the few bunks which sit in this area of the sub.

Great light in both shots. That really helps set a mood, especially the torpedo room shot.

Haven't had much of a wow moment with the A7R + 70-300L as opposed to A7R + TS-E 17 or 24, but these are beginning to get somewhere...

got my commlite EF to nex adapter. it won't work well. it won't give me the max aperture of my lens. sometimes it does but after awhile, it will stop down to 3.2 or 4.0 or 5.6. And my lens is 2.8. returning it.

This doesn't have anything to do with reflections but I'm curious if you keep up with the firmware updates for your Metabones IV David? http://briansmith.com …-e-smart-adapter-mark-iv/ (external link)
I believe the Metabones III adapter has to be sent in to have its firmware updated whereas version IV can be done through a usb cable and the firmware application by the user.
