Across the board, except for the 55mm, the FE lenses are all overpriced imo. OTOH, I guess I would say the opposite about the camera prices. The a7 II is priced pretty impressively I think.  My guess is that it's because of the sales figures. Canon sells a lot of lenses and so does Nikon. Sony can't keep up with Canon and Nikon in this regard.
