I woulda guessed 6 mo ... close! If it's your first Akita, you are gonna love her! Most loyal breed in the world! If she's not your first, then you clearly already know that ;) Also, There's a couple of Akita groups on facebook if you are interested. Im a member of the private group "Akita World" and there are several fan pages as well!

Wow!!! Tank just gave me a bit of a shock.

Baron was not a big dog physically, but he had the biggest heart and biggest personality that could ever be found. So much more than a lot of humans I know. He stayed at a trim 60 lbs. Was half yellow lab, half greyhound.
