Hey everyone. I'm trying to get some feedback from those that may have used both gimbal heads. I want to know why you chose one over the other. So, if you don't mind I'd like to hear from you. Let it fly. Tell all.

Thanks...Al

Personally I use the Wimberley II and can find little if anything to fault on it. I have (in the past) used it with an EF 400 F2.8L and 600 F4 L IS. Currently I use mine with the Canon 300 F2.8 L IS and the Canon 800 F5.6 L IS. From what I read the latest Jobu Pro2 is an excellent product so If I were buying again (between these two) I would just look at price and weight as either is more than up to the job.
Between price and weight I would lean towards the lighter - just my 2p!

It just works!
The head is nice and rigid and the movements are very smooth. I also like the control layout and overall quality of the Wimberley 2. I am sure there are other heads out there that are very/equally good but I haven't had the opportunity to try them properly so I couldn't offer any valid advice on them.
