Jan 28, 2015 04:49 | #18 I know I still have a few days of January left, but I'm pretty happy with this group so I'll go ahead and post now. ![]() ![]() MORNING: (Canon Rebel XS, nifty 250)IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qEKJDD ![]() ![]() WINDOW: (Canon 7D, 17-55mm)IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qEKHzz ![]() ![]() CIRCLE: (Canon S90)IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qX6RsN ![]() ![]() ALMOST PRETTY: (Canon Elan 7ne, Kodak Gold 400 film) IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/qAKoMS ![]() ![]() Runner-up that was almost my "MORNING" choice: (Holga 120N, Lomography Color 800 film) IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/pWiA1Y ![]() ![]() NOTES: Sorry (well, not really) for posting the runner-up! Sometimes it can be really hard just deciding which photos to use. Almost pretty was another tough choice for me. The one I ended up using feels a little like cheating, but only because it isn't the shot I had in mind when I went out shooting that day. And even when I shot it I had no intention of it looking like that (it's two ducks reflected on a pond, with the print turned sideways), but when my wife saw it like that on the index card thingie from the lab she thought it looked really cool and I thought it looked, *ahem*, almost pretty. Also - although I didn't plan it this way - I'm a little pleased that each photo (including the runner-up) was taken with a different camera. And I'm glad I got to use some film shots. And now I just wait for the list from Old Crow for February, and start all over again. Works for me! Looking forward to seeing the shots from everyone else!

Morning I broke tradition here. I usually don't have cereal during the week for breakfast. Window Kinda liked the way this looked before I took it and I totally saw this in black & white in my head Stairs. Got some weird looks with this one. I was on my stomach getting this shot and people were walking out of the building nextdoor going home from work. Circle I think for February I will shoot film with my AE1 Program with Black & White film. That should be a fun excursion. ![]() Photographer
