Agreed, something to do with the coding on my site. I have attachment pages that redirect to the actual post to stop Google from just serving a single image in the search results but for certain key images I'll be adding a 'click for bigger' feature once I get the time

I've been eyeing this 645z since it was announced and I really want to pick one up.

Before I donate for the dng files, can you tell me how well LR handles such large files.

Do you think Captureone is more suited to files of this magnitude?

Unfortunately (but not surprisingly) Capture one doesn't support the 645z. Lightroom handles them just fine. I'd certainly render the 1:1 previews first.
I'm on an i7 3930K chip and an SSD and they render fine...for 50mp files that is.

Lightroom is also ace for Hasselblad files. But I'm bias as I learned Lightroom from the start. I couldn't get on with Capture one because it's so different.

Sure, it's a blog in progress. As I get new work and discover more over time I'll be adding to it. I've already started to add more raw files and I'm making modifications. (I recently put an image shot using the 120mm Macro).

I'd love to cover the Nikon but I've no experience of them other than where I edited some D800 files one time.
If someone was to land me a D750 with some lenses I'd happily have a play but for the most part I'll only cover things I'm sure of.

But I'll be getting the 5Dr when it comes out and I'll be doing a head to head on that for sure.

If the sensor will be valid and the canon lenses able to address the level of detail (where I think will be the real issue) I think you may have second thoughts if the differences will be too marginal.

I've been asked about that, but tbh I really have my doubts.

At the moment there's a strong signal that Canon developed this sensor and the ISO limit is a problem. Because if it maxes out at 6400 native then my next question will be just how noisy is it from 1600+

I'm mainly into medium format because there is a certain look to the image due to the larger sensor and that's something any 35mm sensor won't touch. I'm hopeful for Canon but at the same time not worried about buyers remorse.

The one to watch will be the medium format rangefinder from Sony. If anything is going to turn heads it'll be that.

Edit - Not that I know anything of any certainty.

From the rumors and based on the previous model where was followed the same approach seem that they speak about the use of a color filter that improves light transmission while retaining good color reproduction until 6400 Iso so depending how well is implement this could lead to direct benefits as well to the noise level but better wait some days for obtain some clarification.
