Omar, download Capture one express for Sony, try and compare with LR, I found capture one to be better than LR that is when I upgraded to capture one 8 for Sony only for$20. Give it a try capture one and LR compare

Second (or bottom) one seems brighter, vibrant, more evenly exposed to me. -?

Is your "friend" this cat?

QUOTED IMAGE

Only if he can figure out for me how to run Windows from an external Thunderbolt drive so I do have to use any space for Windows on my internal drive. ;)

It's the same friend who also refuses to pay anything extra to get an SSD even though he just got a new computer. I couldn't convince him otherwise.

What does your friend have against SSD. It's just for the OS and scratch disk? -?

He just doesn't think it's worth it. I sent him one Newegg had on sale, it was 256GB for less than $100 and he still said no. His new system comes with a 1TB 7200 RPM drive and he says that is more than enough.

He even has an SSD on his work PC and still doesn't want to get one.

I love that the screen saver looks just like the inside of a computer. Pretty sweet.

Strike me pink! I got sunburnt yesterday, sore today. It was 95F here yesterday. I'd love a bit of snow!

Very 3-D looking. Seems like the wires are coming off the screen. ;-)a

Ran out of sunblock? I rarely get sunburn but when I do, I use aloe to try and soothe the area. Not much to do since the damage is already done.

I still have a friend who says 1080p looks the same as 480p.

Maybe regular content will catch up to the display hardware someday. ;-)a

Well, my point was that such a high resolution in a small screen seems a bit pointless to me. Higher resolutions, traditionally, really only benefit larger displays.
