Enjoy your sunshine, palm trees and surfing in February. (so jelly!)

Blizzard here in Chicago. At around 14" so far recorded at O'hare International, it's somewhere between the 10th and 7th heaviest snowfall in ~130 years (news agencies can't agree). :-P

So cold both camera batteries were dead in short order and it was the first time I've ever seen the continuos-drive icon flash, meaning it was so cold the 1Ds weren't allowing 10fps. So hard to walk in it, I feel like I hiked the Verdugo mountains 5-times.

And here's 004/365. Went to shoot J's car at the ARTIC today. Mixed results, but it's a learning experience for me. Cars are hard!

Glad to see you finding some inspiration and keeping up the project. I just finished day 7 and looking forward to week 2.

Using day 7 as a way to get inspired and my wife walking on the treadmill did the trick. I also got my M back from the friend I let borrow it so that should help me here.

Well done, Joe. I'm only 4 days in. The weekends are a bit easier for me, since I can go big (Photo shoot in LB last night, car shoot today). Work days are a lot harder. But having the mirrorless carry-around is gonna come in handy. That baby's going with me everywhere: the office, the car, the store, etc. Hopefully, that helps.

Yeah cars are hard to shoot, but that came out great. I really like it and nice post processing. Reflections in the glass and of light from the building on the ground are nice, good timing and location. Never knew of that place.

__

I don't know what happened here but something went terribly wrong, crazy flickering. Thinking it's the gif processing mode I chose, works for night, not for day. It's pretty painful to look at. :-P:-|

[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]

I don't see any flickering, only GIF compression noise. I like the subject matter.
Here's one from the shoot with Dean on saturday, the Youtube compression is pretty bad, even at 1080p. Looks crystal clear on my TV...

That came out pretty cool, Owen!!! Nice! Gotta try one of those at some point.

Here's Day 5/365. Had to get creative at home again...

And a bonus shot for today. Couldn't decide if I liked the more detailed look without the cap and with more depth (f16).

Thanks man, I tried to fix a little of the wobble but got tired of looking at it.

I think I would prefer the f2.8 without the cap.
