I really like the last one with the road. Great shot. Too bad the Milky Way can't be more visible because of the moon. The moon behind you lighting up the scene would be perfect. :-)

Nice ones I love that place. Are those in the park or the wilderness area?

I recognized two but the third looked like the wilderness area. I want to fly a drone down those canyons with one of those 3-d gopro cameras on it:) There was a guy singing at the entrance to one of them last time I was there. He was very good too. The canyon really made his voice sound nice. There were a few people there one guy said he does this pretty much every day. Before 911 you could ride those tiny boats over to the other side and burro into town for a stop at the cantina. I heard they are going to open that back up. A lot of interesting things have gone on out there. That ore tramway some of the mines. I've done most of the 4x4 trails. Some awesome scenery tucked away on those roads.

Griz,

I have been to the park over 30 times since 1989 as a birder, hiker, photographer and as an undergraduate student helping professor do the vegetation map. Been on every road and trail and still my favorite place in North America. Would live there in a heartbeat! Thanks for nice words everyone.

I was down there this past summer...such a beautiful place. I stayed the night in the David mountains (Ft. David) the day before I headed to BB. Got some incredible shots just down the road from the observatory there...was a moonless night. Thinking about going back down in Aug for the Persids meteor shower on the 13th.
Nice shots here.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

Very nice, and great job on the distortion. Did you use the normal profile?

I use the profile set for the Canon 40D because I can not get any others to work well.
