I have a SUV and it struggles turning onto my street and I fishtail and I just have to gun it to go up the hill which I find fun. But my wife has to go around the block just to avoid that hill on her Corolla.

Toyota 4runner. Just at the turn I struggle. There's probably 5 inches of snow just at that turn, which isn't the problem but with tracks going this way and that way, and nothing solid to grip, I fishtail.

Hey everyone here! Just want do drop by and introduce myself. Been a long time member here, on and off, and finally noticed there's a thread for members in my area. How awesome! I'm a hobbyist who love to shoot people and places. Hope to learn much from the pros here! Stay safe and warm everyone!

Harm - Nice. You're always at work after a snow storm. They work you too hard.

Welcome. I think most of the pros have stepped away from the thread temporarily. You're in good company with hobbyists, though.

my supervisor is too stupid to put a plan in place to let people work from home. So we all end up coming into work. It is okay really, as I am about 5-10 mins easy walk to the commuter rail to get into north station.

on a snowstorm day, it is nice in town when it is nice and quiet, I get more done at work too!!

Haven't bought any new gear in a while... but I just recently discovered the gear list feature of the new forum. Click under "more info" under the user's profile and, if they've updated their gear list, you can see what they own currently or in the past. Pretty cool. I think I've hit most, if not all, of the cameras and lenses I've had.

Yeah, now that we have a good 30+ even after melting, it is kinda getting old. Granted, I can work from home so it isn't all that terrible, but the roads are getting narrower and narrower..

Yes, Scott - I work on Arlington, 1 block from boylston. I'll hop out and be around arlington/boylston, opposite the public gardens by the snow dunes....

i'll bring the 70-200 in...

that part is worse for me, because walking to the commuter rail, i have to walk on the roads - no-one has cleared off the footpaths.....
