+1 - never get tired of great shots of a magnificent creature such as the bald eagle!

I personally don't like being tied down to one spot. When a lot of people show up a common handheld lens is the Tamron 150-600.

yes. if you are using a full frame, you might be cropping more than you would like. but on a crop, a 400+1.4 would be very beneficial. I shot mine with a 300+1.4 and a 1.3 crop body. minimal cropping on most
